Who it suits

Apricot is an underused shade on brown hands and it deserves more attention. The orange is soft and translucent, so it warms the nail without turning it into a statement. It is one of the few colours that actually agrees with fresh mehndi rather than clashing with the orange stain. Short oval keeps the whole thing light and summery.

Wearing it

Jelly finishes are low maintenance to live with. The colour fades out towards the edges, so new growth blends in instead of showing a border. Short oval nails do not catch on dough or on a dupatta, and there is nothing raised on the surface to snag. If you want it stronger for an occasion, ask for two coats of apricot over a milky base.
