Who it suits

Cobalt on white borrows from old crockery, which is why it feels formal without feeling bridal. It is a strong option for a nikah guest, an engagement, or anywhere you are wearing white, ivory or pale blue. The blue is cool, so it looks sharp against warm brown skin and sits well with silver or pearl jewellery rather than heavy gold.

Wearing it

Painted art lives on top of the base, so the branches stay crisp while the white underneath eventually shows growth at the cuticle. White is also the base that picks up a turmeric tinge readily, worth knowing if you cook daily. The branches can go on two nails instead of all ten for a quieter version.
