Who it suits
Terracotta is a mud brick orange, warm and a bit dusty, and it is one of the few shades that sits comfortably with fresh mehndi instead of arguing with it. The small copper half moon near the cuticle catches light the way a thin bangle does. Short oval keeps the whole thing wearable, so this works for a dholki or a family dinner, not only the big night.
Wearing it
Half moon art sits right at the cuticle, which means growth changes the design rather than simply adding a gap at the base. Some people enjoy watching the crescent drift up the nail, others prefer to have it redone. The satin finish hides small scuffs better than a mirror shine would. Tell us in the DM if you want the crescent on two nails only and plain terracotta on the rest.
