Who it suits

Red earns its place because it does so much with so little. This one is balanced rather than orange or purple leaning, so it stays clean against both fair and deeper Pakistani skin and does not clash with mehndi on the fingers. Short squoval is the version that works at a mehndi, at work, and on an ordinary Tuesday.

Wearing it

Strong pigment like this shows growth at the base clearly, so it rewards a tidier schedule than a sheer shade does. Nothing about short nails interferes with cooking or prayer.
