Who it suits

Maroon leans brown rather than purple, which is why it looks settled beside gold jhumkas and a fresh mehndi stain instead of clashing with them. It flatters deeper and olive tones particularly well. On short squoval nails the effect is tidy and quiet, the sort of thing you can wear to work on Monday and to a dholki on Friday.
