Who it suits

Warm ivory is the shade to reach for when white looks too stark on you. It carries a little yellow, so it warms up against brown and olive skin instead of draining it. Good with gold jhumkas, good under a plain kurta week, good when your mehndi has faded to a rust orange and you want something calm beside it.

Wearing it

Being fully opaque, this one does show a line at the cuticle once the nail grows. It is a soft line rather than a harsh one, because the colour is close to the nail bed. Kitchen turmeric can tint a pale cream slightly, so wipe hands after cooking. Ask us for the same ivory in a sheer version if you want the regrowth less visible.

ABOUT THIS STYLE

Plain colour

One good colour, worn glossy, is the most low-maintenance choice there is. Regrowth shows less, it goes with every outfit, and it photographs cleanly.
