Who it suits
Cat-eye is magnetic gel: the shimmer is pulled into a single bright band with a magnet while the gel is still soft, so the line moves as your hand moves. Emerald makes it look like a stone rather than a polish. It is a strong pick for a mehndi guest in green, a winter wedding, or anyone who wears a lot of gold.
Wearing it
Deep green is opaque, so regrowth shows the way any dark shade does. One quirk of cat-eye: the magnetic band is set per nail, so if you want it redone later the angle is easy to match but not identical, which nobody except you will notice. Medium almond is comfortable for daily use. Ask for the band straight across instead of diagonal if you prefer.
