Who it suits
Glitter concentrated at the tips gives you sparkle without a fully packed glitter nail, which is often too much on short square nails. Midnight blue is the base doing the work: deep, cool and flattering under party lighting. Good for a birthday dinner, a friend's dholki when you are not the bride, or New Year. Silver jewellery picks up the same flecks.
Wearing it
Dark blue is opaque, so expect a clear line at the base as the nail grows out, the same as any deep shade. Glitter at the tip also means the wear point and the sparkle are in the same place. Short square edges are fine for typing and for washing. If you want it calmer, ask for the glitter on the ring finger only.
