Who it suits
An aura nail is an airbrushed glow: a hot pink centre that fades out to a milky edge with no hard border anywhere. On brown skin the effect is warm and slightly lit from inside. It photographs beautifully, which is why it shows up at birthdays, dholkis and engagement shoots. Medium almond gives the glow enough room to actually read.
Wearing it
Because the outer edge of an aura is milky and pale, growth at the cuticle disappears into it rather than forming a line, which is unusual for something this bright. The colour is inside the gel, so there is no texture to catch. Length is the only thing to think about with cooking and small children. Ask for a shorter almond or a different centre colour in the DM.
