Who it suits

Rose-brown reads differently on every hand, which is part of why people keep going back to it. On deeper skin it turns almost chocolate; on lighter hands it stays rosy. It is the shade that works when you want your nails to look considered at a family dinner without announcing anything. Bangles in gold or oxidised silver both sit fine beside it.

Wearing it

Brown-based colours are quiet growers. The line at the cuticle turns up eventually, but the brown sits near enough to most nail beds that it is not the first thing anyone sees. Gloss keeps it looking fresh; a matte top coat would make it read more autumn. All five plain is the default, so say so in the DM if you want one nail different.
